Specialist services for when care needs become more defined.
A good night's rest is essential for health and well-being, but sometimes extra support is needed during the night. Whether you or your loved one require reassurance, assistance with mobility, or help with medical needs, our overnight care services provide peace of mind that someone is always there when needed.

Overnight care provides continuous support throughout the night, ensuring safety, assistance, and peace of mind while the individual sleeps. This is ideal for those with conditions requiring nighttime supervision, such as epilepsy, dementia, or mobility challenges. This is different to respite care because respite care is temporary support designed to give family carers a break, whether for a few hours, days, or weeks. It allows loved ones to rest and recharge, knowing their relative is in safe hands. Overnight care gives families peace of mind, ensuring their loved one is safe and supported while they rest, reducing stress and preventing caregiver exhaustion.

At The Care Collective, we are committed to upholding our values in everything we do, ensuring that our care is delivered with integrity, dedication, and a genuine focus on well-being of those we support
Here's how our values come into Overnight Care.

At The Care Collective, we offer two types of night care to suit different needs:

SLEEPING NIGHT CARE
For those who are mostly independent but would feel more comfortable knowing someone is there just in case, our sleeping night carers stay in the home overnight. They'll be ready to help if needed, whether that's assistance using the toilet, adjusting sleeping positions, or simply providing reassurance.
A sleeping night carer stays in the home overnight, available to assist if needed. This service is ideal for those who:
✔ Are mostly independent but feel reassured having someone there just in case
✔ Occasionally need help using the toilet or changing position in bed
✔ Live alone and would benefit from knowing a trained carer is close by
Our carer will sleep in a designated room and can be woken when assistance is required. If frequent support is needed throughout the night, our awake night care may be more suitable.

AWAKE NIGHT CARE
If regular or continuous support is needed throughout the night, our awake night carers stay alert and on hand to assist. Whether it's help with medication, repositioning, or simply being there to ease restlessness, our carers provide the care and comfort needed to get through the night.
For those who need regular or continuous support during the night, an awake night carer stays alert and on hand to assist. This service is ideal for those who:
✔ Wake frequently and need help moving or repositioning
✔ Require medication or medical support at set times during the night
✔ Experience confusion, restlessness, or distress (e.g., dementia-related needs)
✔ Have a condition that requires constant supervision, such as epilepsy or respiratory concerns
✔ Need assistance with complex care needs, such as using a hoist or other mobility aids
Our awake night carers provide attentive and compassionate support to ensure comfort, safety, and reassurance throughout the night.

How to get started.
We strive to make our on-boarding process as smooth and transparent as possible. By clearly outlining each step, we ensure you know exactly what to expect, allowing you to feel confident and comfortable as we begin our care journey together.

Getting started doesn't have to take weeks, let us know the time frame you are working with and we can get you going within as little as a day or two.
STEP 1:LET'S START THE CONVERSATION
Get in touch with us via email, phone, social media, or through our website. If you're working with a social worker who you’d like to involve, simply let them know, and they can connect with us on your behalf.

STEP 2: GETTING TO KNOW YOU
We prefer to visit you at home to conduct an initial assessment. This helps us understand your needs, wishes, and goals. Don’t worry, we keep our questions light and conversational to make the process comfortable and as unobtrusive as possible. If you’ve already completed an assessment with a social worker, with your permission, we can include that information to gain the fullest understanding of your needs. This is a great opportunity to ask us all of the questions you may have on your mind.
